She is old enough to remember the days before webcomics, so she must be right.
"The lack of [a Livejournal] would be my demarcation between angry kid with webcomic and too much time on their hands and a webcomic artist."

I like how she dedicates a whole section to PERSONALLY BASHING ONE WEBCOMIC ARTIST. That is terribly professional. Also notice that in one paragraph BmB is NOT pornographic (but it has pornographic fan art, which means that the comic itself is Bad), while a few paragraphs later it suddenly is!

This woman has... issues. Yes.

Also, if the article is about webcomics, why is there an entire rather large section dissecting the relationship between Sandra and her girlfriend? Yes, it's on the 'net and thus public, but does that make it relevant? No. No it does not.

She's kinda nutty. Dustin and I had a laugh at her expense.
I'm glad to be in the same community as you. Snail Dust is awesome.

Wow, but that's a little disturbing, yes.

Copyright is an obsession with Sandra. On the main page of the comic there is this warning:

"Everything herein is copyright 2000-2002 K. Sandra Fuhr. Don't steal, and don't distribute BmB without my permission. Keen has this nifty little policy that enables me to sue if you do. God save the Keen. Site designs copyright R. J. Burton and TrackerOC (cast page)." http://boymeetsboy.keenspace.com

Heaven forbid Sandra Fuhr actually have a copyright notice on her comics! Why, that makes her a copyright NAZI!

COPYRIGHT NAZI! How dare you forbid others to copy your work willy-nilly! Copyright belongs to artists, not angsty people!

What the hell? She talks at great length about how webcomic artists shouldn't tell anybody anything about their personal lives, but praises Ed Kock for writing weepy stories about going to video arcades "simply to be in a crowd," which is a far far angstier thing than you'll find in most LJs. It's completely contradictory. Apparently, you shouldn't publicize your personal life unless it's a personal life that she likes.

I can't be arsed to read the other sections; something tells me I'm not missing much.

Also, consistently calling comics "sequential art" is probably the most pretentious thing I've ever seen. Even Scott McCloud doesn't do that.

It hurts. I read the other articles in front of the Sandra article, but does she realize that her rant might as well be in a LiveJournal?

I <3 LJ and the meaningless banter, damnit!
